Bookkeeper/Accountant - Shelbyville Office:
Seeking an experienced bookkeeper or
accountant to serve our bookkeeping/accounting clients. Ideally, this person
should have at least three years of experience using QuickBooks software. Applicant should also be familiar with state and local filing requirements for small businesses. Extensive experience with payroll is a plus. The
position is intended to be full time with benefits but we are also open to

Audit Intern - Murfreesboro Office:
Interns will work directly with our audit team, spending most of their time working in the field with the audit team and with clients. Duties include performing audit procedures for specific financial statement areas, processing reports and correspondence or assisting our inventory observation count teams. Work assignments will generally relate to or support specific audit procedures. We will provide training prior to starting the internship.
Since we have clients out of town there may be some travel. The amount of travel will depend on the intern's particular work and client assignments.
Applicant should be a senior with aspirations of working in public accounting and having a GPA greater than 3.2.
Position will be part-time. Additional employment opportunity will depend upon performance during the internship.

Professional-Track Position - Shelbyville Office:
Effective October 1, 2015, H A Beasley & Company began operations in a second location in Shelbyville, Tennessee. The firm expects growth in the Shelbyville client base and is seeking to identify the right person to join our Shelbyville team. Our Shelbyville office is lead by Gloria Throneberry, an experienced CPA and tax professional with proven leadership ability. In light of our expected growth we are beginning now to search for a CPA or CPA-track person who can grow with our firm. Depending on a number of factors, the position may be either part-time or full-time. One possibility is to begin part-time and grow into full-time.
